Tweed River High School offers a diverse range of sports as part of our 7-10 school sports program. Wednesday school sports includes many different activities to cater for student interests and abilities, with Tweed River engaging many external venues to facilitate inclusive and engaging activities. Examples include Surfing, Weights, Pickleball, Skateboarding, Tennis, Soccer, Volleyball, Touch Football, River Walking and Yoga.

Tweed River High School also offers a Sport Development Program to students in Years 7-10. Students apply for this program and, if selected, partake in specialised training for specific sports each Monday afternoon during Period 5.  Options include Rugby League, Soccer, Volleyball, Dance, Touch Football, Netball, Basketball and Surfing.
