Balunjahli Culture is a program that enables Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students in Year 6 from the Tweed Learning Community (TLC) to be involved in various cultural and social activities throughout the year. Selected students from Tweed River High School in Years 7-11 are also involved as mentors and leaders within this program. In addition, this program aims to support the transition process from Year 6 into Year 7. Students meet for one workshop each term to learn about local culture while also connecting with each other in preparation for their transition to high school.
